After having 10 days of break because of A(H1N1), school’s finally back. But unfortunately I am not yet mentally prepared. I guess I still enjoyed staying at home and watching movies. Hahaha! I remember one of my classmates saying “gusto ko mo uli og matulog (I want to go home and sleep)” and I was like “lage.Ako pud (yeah, me too)”. By looking at our expressions, you can really see that we’re totally bored and out of our own minds. LOL!! Others started napping already. Lucky for them they’re at the back so the teacher won’t notice them easily. But as for us, who sited at the middle row, tried not to be sleepy. Hehehe! Keep going guys. Ciao!

Have you ever tried to finish a whole regular pizza by yourself? Well, try this one… this pizza is 3 times larger than the regular one. Yup, there’s a dozen of us digging it and we still haven’t ate it all. This pizza is available at Calda, somewhere here in our town. We don’t have to worry for the price even if it’s a bit expensive because my cousin’s paying it... LOL!!!... And below are our pictures. Enjoy drooling! Hehehe

Sure it’s a long way from 18-81 right? But for my grandma, who celebrated her debut last 63 years ago made her way to 81 years now. I can tell that she’s very happy and proud of herself. Of course, her birthday would not be a joyous one without any preparation. Though we don’t have enough money to set up a fancy party for her, we managed to satisfy her with jam-packed foods that we cooked. Since we can’t afford to rent expensive places for our gathering, we went to my uncle’s place where he raises tilapia in a fishpond… at the end of the day, I can tell that my grandma celebrated her birthday with no regrets… and my wish for her is to have a healthy body and will have more birthdays to come…

I know how important your friends are to you. It’s like they are your siblings. But how would you react on a situation where one of your best friends starts to act so weirdly?? I bet you would start asking “why is she like that?” or “did I do something wrong to her?” It’s actually a mind boggling situation. For how many days and nights I’ve been thinking about it until I finally come up to a conclusion that she has changed. It’s sad to know but I should accept the reality right? That she’s no longer the person I used to know. I know that I would really miss the times we spent together. Even if were not in good terms right now, for me she’s still my best friend that I’ll cherish the most. And if she could read this, I just want her to know that I’m happy that God has given me the opportunity to meet a person like her.

The flu scare has arrived!

The flu scare has come to our town and it first hit our school. Yup! The A (H1N1) flu virus was found on a student from our school and because of that the school administration ordered a whole week class suspension for sanitary clean up. There are rumors that the flu virus has already spread and is now an epidemic in our town… but as long as you’re prepared and healthy there is nothing to worry about… For now I’m enjoying this vacation leave but the school administration has also told us that were not going to have our semestral break… sigh. Well that’s it for now guys.

The Day When I turned "Sweet"..

The day has come when I turn a year older again. I never had an expensive party but we had some special dishes for this kind of occasion. Mom cooked birthday noodles as always whenever there’s a birthday on the family, there was roasted fish and pork too. On school, my classmates sung the birthday song and that’s it. My friends at home surprise me with a beautiful arrangement of balloons and a medium sized can of fruit selection which I made a fruit salad and share with them. That’s how I celebrated my birthday. Its may not be fancy and expensive but I don’t care, I’m happy that this day came and I thank god for giving me another year of my life, and for my birthday wish… it’s a secret! LOL!!!.. Anyway, I thank you guys for keeping up with me.

It’s Friday!! Finally I don’t have to wake up early tomorrow! So what we did in our class lately? Let’s see… hmmm…

For Christian Living Subject:

We just tackled about the 3^rd person of blessed trinity which is the “Holy Spirit”. My teacher also discussed to us the other names of Holy Spirit and a lot more.

For Economics:

First, my teacher called a student to share a news report from last night. And after that, we tackled about Agricultural Land, Forest Land, Water Fisheries, and Mineral Resources. We also tackled some problems regarding this matter.

For Math:

We talked about “slope of a line”...

For Physics:

Every Friday we have 2 periods for physics. This is to give us ample time in performing our laboratory experiment, so it’s expected that every Friday we are having our laboratory activities. So up we went to our laboratory room and perform our activity.

For English:

My teacher was not feeling well. She had an asthma attacked around 5:00 am I guess? So she asked us to bear with her and to keep quiet and listen to her discussion. And our discussion was all about the story Iliad by Homer. Others found the story mind-numbing but as for me, I found it interesting! Because it talks about the Gods and Goddesses! So for 1 hour I didn’t mind to talk to my seat mate and just listen to ma’am Sharon whom despite of her asthma is trying so hard to explain it well.

The Cat’z Eye…

Meow is not just enough for the hottest dance troupe in town. The cat’s eye dance troupe deserves a big ROAR!!! For winning the inter-school competition, being the champion of Iligan dance track competition and for much more achievements and guess what? I just got to their team… since I am the newbie of the group I have to practice and exert double effort to match their skill on dancing… they got the moves that I still had to learn… well anyway, we have started our practices and we had a hard time considering the place where we can have our practices because of financial issues and I admit its really difficult on our part to lend a place like a studio with all the stage paraphernalia… We are just a small dance troupe with big dreams of achievement like being recognized locally and hopefully nationally… and as to support our financial needs we accept sponsorship from anyone who will help us succeed in little ways… I hope you guys see our potentials and will help us improve and succeed. I don’t have their videos yet but help yourself on the pictures…

Whew! Our first day of class will start tomorrow. I’m a little bit anxious because I don’t know what’s in store for me this school year. But I’m excited at the same time because finally I will meet my old friends and classmates again which I really missed so badly this summer. I just wish that this last year of my high school life would be so memorable and full of pleasure. So yeah, that was our discussion lately. The 3 of us went to Gaisano Mall and leisurely walk around there. As time goes by, we heard a rumbling noise on our stomach!! LOL. This means that the dinosaurs living inside our tummy are hungry! Hahaha..! We swiftly went to Fem’s Bake Shoppe and grab some delectable bread and paired it with cola. We pep talked about the different stores we visited and the stuff that we found pretty cool. We went home afterwards. Hi guys! I’m back again! The reason why I haven’t posted some new posts is because I’m busy. Today is our last day of summer class and I’m so happy! Because finally I don’t have to wake up early anymore!! Hahaha!! I can keep up with posting now… anyway, I’d like to share with you some of the activities I did last few days. I’ll start before the fiesta celebration of our patron St. Cruz. As part of the celebration our community held a sports fest for youths in the neighborhood. The sports fest was very fun and exciting specially the basketball competition. Cheering and taunting for each team was deafening… the crowd just get on shouting and cheering each time their team scores… I was so carried away that I barely noticed the time passed by and as a result I got home very late at night, sleep late and got to school the next day with eyes heavy… LOL… but I never mind the stress or the weariness because I’m happy… Not all the fun credit to the sports fest of course, there were lots of foods and even more foods on the day of fiesta… until then guys… see you around!!!!....

I woke up early, around 5 am, despite the muscle pains I suffered as the after result of playing badminton the day before I jogged around our compound. It came into my mind to lose weight after all of the food that I put into my mouth this summer… I say not all of it is healthy and I also recognized that I felt heavier than before… so I decided to jog everyday… the best way to stay fit and lose weight.

Hi Guys!!! How’s your holy week?... Its been quite awhile since my last post… well, here I am now and I will share with you the things I did last holy week… let’s start on holy Friday, I did much eating sweet sticky rice cakes… I played volleyball, soccer and badminton with my cousins from Zamboanga City all afternoon, they’re here for vacation. Then at night again, I played badminton at the gymnasium. I don’t know but badminton fever is the “in” sport this summer at our place. I just got so carried with it that I got muscles pains all over in the morning.

How are you doing guys? Hope you had a great day today. Mine wasn’t great or incredible… I stayed here at the house all day long AGAIN..!! It’s kind of irritating because I really want to enjoy this” summer vacation” thing but what can I do? I don’t have money to go to another place or in the city. I guess I’ll just have to bear this. But luckily, I found a solution to kill my boredom. Movie marathon again! Hahaha!! I watched this super cool movie entitled “gossip girl”! Oh my! And I love it! The entire xoxo thing! Hahaha!! I suddenly planned to change my name into “gossip girl gailey” Hahaha!! Isn’t it cute?! So yeah, for a couple of hours I was watching this movie until I got tired and stopped. I think I started watching it around 2:00 pm and finished it around 5:30 pm. I’m still on episode 5..hehehe…this is all for now…ciao baby! God bless you all!

Happy April Fools Day to all of you… How many pranks did you got today? This day I attended my cousin’s graduation ceremony… As expected, her family prepared a lot of yummy foods in their house but unfortunately I wasn’t able to enjoy it that much because I suddenly don’t feel good so I just ate a little and got home… at home, I was just wasting my time on watching TV and sleeping… well actually I was waiting for my granny to arrive from fetching my uncle in the airport… I was expecting that she or my uncle brought something for me and yes there is… I got chocolates only… hehe … another fat food for my health… LOL! I’ll just let this pass for now because I really can’t resist the sweet sensation of every bite of a mouth watering, luscious chocolate… Can you? LOL! Well, that’s all for now and keep up!!!

What I did last March 22 to 30… well, I say not much… I was just slouching on Korean drama series… Its entitled “Boys over flower”, it’s a Korean version of the famous Taiwanese drama series “Meteor Garden”… let’s just say that I’m an avid fan of this series… I just love the story, the distinctiveness of each character… The story is fast paced so I have to keep up so I won’t get behind… I just couldn’t afford to miss one episode to it… but now I’m done with it so I plan on following another drama series entitled “Hotshot”, it’s another Taiwanese drama series that is aired on TV which is dubbed in Tagalog but still I can’t wait so I’m hoping to find it full in the net… actually, I have started watching it and now I’m on Episode 4 but there’s more to keep up… so if anyone out there who is interested in this series you can watch it for free at www.mysoju.com... It’s been a really freaking hot today like I’m gonna melt if I stay too long outside the house… I think its more than 37 degrees Celsius outside... I could just feel the heat biting my skin… so I decided not to go anywhere outside the house and just waste my time playing games on line and read some news on the net… I know it’s not a satisfactory leisure but it does help a bit in satisfying my boredom… sigh… I mean what else can I do? All I did this day was eating, lying around, and watching TV, got my fingers on the keyboard… there’s just not much activity in there… I think I will only gain weight and I’m frustrating my idea of having a slim body… L.O.L… I’m texting my friend to come over because I’m planning to have a movie marathon… I also asked her to bring some DVDs with her… anyways, that’s all for now… hope that you guys keep up with me… have a nice day… ciao!!!!

I’m back! Whew! After all the restless nights, finally the exams are totally OVER!! Summer lovin’ babe..! But wait, yeah summer is here but as well as goodbyes too. I’m going to miss my silly classmates. All the fun that we encountered together will surely remain in my “hush-hush manuscript”. I will never forget those memoirs. Bad or good, happy or sad, and funny or not, still I would love to reminisce that memoirs of ours. So next school year, I’m not a junior anymore. Yehey! Hehehe!

Anyway, I’m not really over school this summer because I’m taking summer lessons… I know it’s kind of depressing but there’s a good reason for it… Let’s just say that I have a subject that I’m not really good at so I’m reviewing it this summer and to make the most of it I also take an advanced subject so that I wont have a hard time studying it… since I will be on my last year on high school this coming school year, I am very excited and I feel a bit anxious because I heard a lot of talk that your going to have the hardest time of your high school life. They somewhat fright you with the projects and homework the teachers will give you. Well, all I can say is that I’m ready for it... I would go for it no matter what. I know I can surpass it... I’m gonna work hard for it because I don’t want to fail my parents for their efforts to enroll me and I don’t want to dismay them. I’m gonna finish my studies for them and for my future. In the movie titled “The day after Tomorrow”, it shows the possible effects of global warming which is very frightening. The chance of it to happen in real life is possible.

Global Warming is increase in the average temperature of the atmosphere, oceans, and landmasses of Earth. At present Earth appears to be facing a rapid warming, which most scientists believe its because of human activities. The main cause of this warming is believed to be the burning of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and natural gas, which releases into the atmosphere carbon dioxide and other substances known as greenhouse gases. As the atmosphere becomes abundant in these gases, it becomes a better insulator, retaining more of the heat provided to the planet by the Sun.

Global warming has certain effects on weather, agriculture, animals and plants, and human health. There will be increase of temperature in global warming which can alter the weather, thus colder region will get warmer and ice caps and ice bergs will melt faster which cause higher tides. Storms will be more intense and frequent. There will also be an effect on agriculture since global warming can change the weather conditions in areas where the seasons of planting agricultural products are affected. Global warming also had an impact on animals and plants. Animals from colder region will have a hard time adjusting to a hotter climate and may die. Plants may propagate slower and may not be able to survive for long. And of course, global warming had a great consequence on human health. Human from colder region will more likely to suffer from heat stress and may not survive. Diseases will easily be developed since a warm air produces more bacteria and viruses.

The question then is “How can we stop Global warming? Now that we know what causes global warming and its effect to us, everyone must be concerned on keeping our mother earth clean. This can be achieved by reducing the production of substances that causes greenhouse effects. Recycling and using environment friendly alternatives is also another remedy for global warming.

Sounds familiar huh? Of course it is! Because we’re talking about Lady Gaga here!! J Lady Gaga is just a remarkable singer. She's become synonymous with wearing a revealing leotard for her appearances. What I loved about her is the way she carries herself. Other says that her outfit sucks but, she never mind it. She still continues with her regular leotard outfit. But on her latest tour entitled “The Fame Ball tour”, she has adopted a new look for her first solo tour- a coat made of bubbles. Isn’t it cute??!! Oh I just luuurrrvvv her. One site said that the star has described her unique style as ‘a commentary on what it means to be a lady’, adding she developed her signature look by absorbing her mother’s love of fashion while growing up. Sometimes I wish I could dress like her. But I guess it’s inappropriate here. Hahaha!! So to Lady Gaga, please keep on rocking my world and inspiring others! I love you! J

My day started with a clear blue sky above me. It was like any other day for me.. I live my life on a routine basis. Wake up at 6 am, take a bath, have my breakfast and off to school. At school, I am obliged to listen to our teachers, do our seatwork, and have our recital and anything about school. Chat with friends at school during break times with nothing really interesting. So it goes the same way till my day ends but wait, I felt something odd as I glimpse the sky. I noticed that it changed color. As I recall it was a clear blue sky this morning and the sun was shining and full of energy. I haven’t noticed it now. The sky's color turned orange and I realized that it was more relaxing. Then suddenly I felt very emotional. I felt dismay and regretful for myself. For my whole life, I’ve never imagined that this time of day can make me realize the beauty of life as I lived it everyday...

Wew! It’s been a very bad day to me this day, I had flu. It is not cool to have flu. I missed a lot in our classes today… I never thought it could happen to me. It just started as a common cold and worsen this day… well maybe I got reckless on my part, I didn’t took the medicines mom gave me because honestly I really hate the taste of it. It’s like swallowing a bitter pill. Well I tried but it just won’t go down. I felt the medicine stuck on my throat and don’t like the feeling of it so I puke it out… because of that, mom had tried to pulverized the tablet or take the contents of the pill and mixed it to a juice or milk or anything that would cover its taste but I still taste the bitterness of the medicine so I cannot finish the whole glass of it… I don’t think I found it effective because I wasn’t cured.
